Travel and Vaccinations
Using the NHS 'fit for travel' website - http://www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk/ we provide NHS vaccinations which are recommended and required for safe travel to your chosen destination.
We are able to provide the following NHS vaccinations at no cost to the patient.
- Hepatitis A
- Diphtheria, Tetanus & Polio (as a combined vaccine)
To enable us to assess the vaccinations you may require, you should complete a Travel Questionnaire at least 6 weeks before your departure. This gives us time to assess your needs and book you in for an appointment if needed. You can download a copy of the Travel Questionnaire
The completed questionnaire should be return to the Practice as soon as possible and we will contact you to book any appointments necessary. We hold most NHS travel vaccinations in stock and so we should be able to administer them during your visit. If a course is required, it may be necessary to visit us again for subsequent vaccination.
We should have a record of any vaccinations you have received on the NHS but may not have information about private immunisations. Therefore please bring any information you have along with your questionnaire.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below
